Taster Sessions
Thinking about learning to sew or just want a quick refresher? These relaxed, two-hour sessions are the perfect way to try it out - no experience or commitment needed. Whether you’ve never used a machine before or simply want to explore a new technique, you’ll enjoy a fun, pressure-free introduction to the joy of sewing.

Blockbusters
A beginner-friendly crash course covering the essentials of quilting - from piecing and simple top design to binding and finishing. You’ll create blocks that introduce all the main shapes, with a mix of traditional and contemporary techniques.
All materials, fabrics and equipment at the sessions are provided.
Course Fee £200
- either 4 sessions of 2.5 hrs or 2 daytime sessions of 5.5 hrs
Improvisational Sewing
This playful, freeform quilting session invites you to let go of rules and perfection. Intuition leads the way and perfection takes a back seat. Whether you’re an experienced sewist or completely new to the craft, you’ll work spontaneously - letting your fabric guide you, experiment with colour, and enjoy a creative, almost therapeutic process that often yields surprising and delightful results.
All materials, fabrics and equipment at the sessions are provided.

- either 2 sessions of 2.5 hrs or 1 daytime session of 5.5 hrs
The Business of Colour
For those with some experience, or who’ve taken the Blockbuster course, this workshop deepens your understanding of colour. Using simple overlapping blocks, you’ll explore how colour creates dimension, perspective, and depth - discovering how contrasting relationships can turn flat designs into striking, three-dimensional effects.
All materials, fabrics and equipment at the sessions are provided.

Sew Saturdays
Sew Saturdays are relaxed, drop-in sessions where you can bring your own project, work at your own pace, and get friendly help whenever you need it. Whether you’d like to pop in for an hour, stay the whole day, pick up a new skill, or simply enjoy the company of fellow makers, you’re very welcome.
