I am a modern textile artist, primarily a quilter, and a maker of mess. My journey started many years ago when I studied and practiced printed textiles at university, you will see much influence in my work from this time.

I am still passionate about printing onto fabric, using a variety of techniques, the resulting surface design always unpredictable and surprising.

So when life rudely interrupted me some thirty years ago, the fire that was my textile journey became dormant, and it's only been these past eight years that I have revisited this love, largely in the form of quilting, and rediscovered the spark with such energy and enthusiasm.

My message to you is to find fun behind the day to day blur, and a life beyond work. If it's inspiration you can't find, or motivation you have lost, please join me on a journey of re-discovery and re-invention. Whatever your level, a SewJo workshop might be the fun but gentle nudge you need?
